Local Travel X-Ray Tech
Overview
We are a diagnostic portable imaging company providing quality portable x-ray,
ultrasound, and electrocardiogram (EKG) to patients in their homes or home-care
settings. Our trained professionals serve patients of all ages.
The
primary purpose of the Mobile Radiological (X-Ray) Technician is to provide
quality x-ray services to patients, typically receiving home based or
instructional care, to limit as much discomfort and inconvenience as
possible resulting in the ability of primary physicians, radiologists, and
family member to determine proper plans for care.

Skills:
Concisely
answer questions about the ultrasound procedure to be conducted.
Perform
ordered ultrasound and capture images.
Evaluate
images and interpret their meaning.
Accurately
present the images and diagnosis to healthcare professionals.
Clearly
add notes pertaining to the x-ray results.
Can
Calibrate, maintain and contain all equipment.
Abilities:
Capable
of working flexible hours. Full autonomy in the field on their own.
Ability
to travel with some, but extremely rare, overnight stays.
Can
operate portable x-ray equipment.
Communicate
clearly.
Treats
patients, family members, care staff and physicians with the utmost respect.
Proficiently
reads and writes in the English language.
Works
well alone and with other team members.
Possess
the ability to problem solve and make decisions.
Responsibilities:
Explain x-ray procedure to patients so they feel comfortable with the experience.
Keep
all equipment is clean and in excellent working order.
Perform
exams in home-based care environments.
Refrain
from commenting on results with patients.
Immediately
notify the physician of any abnormalities or concerns.
Chart
results when required.
Work
closely with dispatch personnel on schedules and schedule changes.
Communicate patient results to physician or radiology group.
Requirements
Required Credentials:
1-2 years( ) experience as an X-Ray Technician
ARRT certified and licensed in the States of Oregon (Washington - preferred, but can obtain Washington license after hire)
Ability to read and understand medical
terminology and physician orders.
Valid
Driver’s License in good standing & authorized CPR Card (Excellent driving record)
