Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Prepare specimens for analysis, including specimen handling, labeling, and processing.
- Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Participate in proficiency testing, quality assurance activities, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results and facilitate patient care.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required.
- Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and instrumentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
