SI Engineering, P.C. (SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is currently seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader for our Elmsford office to lead bridge inspection projects for long span, roadway, and rail bridge inspection projects.
Qualification & Skills :
- Active New York and New Jersey PE License required
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- At least 3 years of recent bridge experience in inspection as a Team Leader
- Current FHWA / NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training) and / or Refresher Course
- OSHA 30
- Physically capable of performing tasks associated with the position. Must be comfortable working at heights on ladders, scaffolding, and various aerial lifts and access equipment
- Familiarity with NYSDOT, TBTA, PANYNJ, NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and other NY and NJ agencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microstation / AutoCAD skills
- Driver's License
Expected salary range is $93,600 - $156,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
