Company Overview :
Our client company specializes in diagnostic tests and services across a range of therapeutic areas, including urology, women's health, gastroenterology and cancer. The company has grown rapidly in recent years as increasing numbers of urologists have adopted its unique UTI test, which simultaneously diagnoses and guides antibiotic treatment for complex, recurring urinary tract infections.
Position : Territory Manager. The Territory Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to : creating long term relationships with physician clinics, specifically urologists and their office staff, building new business via face-to-face cold calls in clinics, and coordinating with internal customer support and commercial operations teams to meet clients’ needs, effectively executing the company’s national sales strategy in keeping with Company goals and objectives
Primary Responsibilities of the Job :
Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
Efficient territory planning and management
Provide accurate forecast monthly
Prospect new accounts through cold call in person visits to physician offices and hospitals
Quickly build rapport and maintain close professional relationships with staff in medical clinics
Demonstrate ability to present, negotiate, and close in an effective manner
Utilize the company's CRM by logging daily activity and completing necessary reports as required
Attend sales meetings, trade shows, and training as required
Partner with internal client services and operations teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service
Adhere to all Company policies regarding HIPAA Privacy and Security
Perform all duties in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of three (3) years of documented successful sales / marketing experience in lab
diagnostics / services required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; must maintain proof of
insurance.
Location : New York City and Buffalo NY (or Western NY in general. For NYC, must live in the boroughs or on Long Island.
Pay : Two Options :
- 75k base salary variable compensation plan (OTE of $175k)
- 95k base salary variable compensation plan, (OTE of $175k)
- Both options provide for car allowance and full benefits to include 401k
- Each plan has uncapped potential on its main service. There are other incentives in place to reward stretch goal achievements. Five reps were at $300k or more in W-2 last year.
- NYC : Monthly Car allowance, parking allowance and fuel reimbursement.
- All other locations : Monthly car allowance and fuel reimbursement.
- Their signature product is a “hot product”; it is a unique approach that shines comparable to the traditional, legacy way of doing Urology diagnostics.
- The NYC territory is already at 120% of existing plan; walking into a great situation.
Travel : Overnight travel is minimal in NYC; a small amount for Western NY.
Attributes of the successful candidate : Energy, passion, polish, scrappy, hungry. Desire clinical selling experience more so than OR selling experience but a blend of both is great.
Salary : $175,000
