Job Summary : Sales Trainer
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to join their team. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance the skills and performance of the sales team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales training, expertise in using technology to train, experience in the roofing or construction industry. The sales trainer will run the company’s Boot Camp for new hires that teaches the fundamentals of the roofing industry, company process and pricing, and negotiation. Training is focused highly on role playing to instill confidence in the new hires. Follow-on training focuses on using the training platform to further enhance professional development and address sales issues from the field.
Key Responsibilities :
- Training Program Development : Evaluate, adjust and improve initial training for new hires – “Boot Camp.” Boot Camp runs every other week with 8-15 new hires.
- Training Delivery : Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching for sales representatives both in-person and virtually. Develop a training library that includes video best practices. Incorporate a Role Play scenario for new hires.
- Assessment & Evaluation : Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; identify areas for improvement and adjust training strategies accordingly.
- Collaboration : Work closely with sales managers to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
- Content Creation : Create comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, online resources, and e-learning modules, ensuring all content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Industry Knowledge : Stay current with Roofing industry trends, sales techniques, and product knowledge, incorporating relevant content into training programs.
- Ongoing Support : Provide ongoing support and mentoring to sales team members, offering guidance, motivation, and assistance to help them achieve their sales targets.
- Reporting : Monitor and report on the progress and success of training initiatives, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications :
Location : Haltom City, TX some flexibility to work from home but Boot Camp training occurs either in Haltom City or TBD location for instances when there is a hiring surge.
