What are the responsibilities and job description for the Blast and Muck Expert position at Sibanye Stillwater?
As a skilled miner at Sibanye Stillwater, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our underground equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for heading prep, blasting, and mucking duties, as well as determining the amount of explosives, placement, and firing of explosives.
Job Requirements
- Must meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act
- Working knowledge of utilities, services, and ventilation
You will work closely with our team to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. To succeed in this role, you must meet the Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Sublevel Miner 2.
