As a part of the High Purity Quartz Project Team, the Construction Supervisor role will empower you to effectively manage all construction contractors and onsite activities in the delivery of Sibelco capital projects to ensure that projects are constructed safely, on time, to budget, in accordance with quality objectives.

As a part of the High Purity Quartz Project Team, the Construction Supervisor role will empower you to effectively manage all construction contractors and onsite activities in the delivery of Sibelco capital projects to ensure that projects are constructed safely, on time, to budget, in accordance with quality objectives.
Your Impact in This Role
As a Construction Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Deliver construction works on time and within budget through accurately interpreting contractual requirements, coordinating and supervising the construction process, ensuring works performed are in accordance with technical drawings and specifications, and maintaining operational lines of communication with all relevant stakeholders
- Implement construction activities by regular surveillance, inspection, and formal planned audits to ensure quality of designs and installed works and implement correction action and remedial plans in timely manner.
- Assist in defining construction work areas, develop and sequence construction and field installation work packages.
- Execute scope of work to baseline WBS, project execution plan, contract management plan, project schedule and construction management plan, including fabrication, pre-assembly/ modularisation, logistics, site laydown and fabrication, mobile equipment and lifting equipment requirements.
- Manage site administration by coordinating relevant work permits and licences, monitoring regulatory compliance requirements, standards of workmanship, adherence to Sibelco policy, Health, Safety and Environment requirements and other relevant guidelines.
- 5 years of experience in Construction trade and Super Intendent role.
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable Engineering Field
- Hands-on experience within the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction industry.
- Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
