As a part of the High Purity Quartz Project Team, the Portfolio Planning Manager will empower you to effectively manage all construction contractors and onsite activities in the delivery of Sibelco capital projects to ensure that projects are constructed safely, on time, to budget, in accordance with quality objectives.

Your Impact in This Role
As a Portfolio Planning Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Procurement and Contracting, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Execute regular maintenance of the project Master Control Schedule in P6 for portfolio.
- Implement corrective or preventative action plans where necessary to ensure on-time delivery of Key Milestones and Critical Path activities.
- Support and Lead development industry standard planning and scheduling capital projects standards, guidelines, and practices for the NAM-HPQ and NAM-GR clusters.
- Defines and implements an overall progress measurement process for reporting and analysing emerging progress trends
- 5 years’ experience in planning in project execution

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Project
- Management, Technical, Business/Administration, Construction.
- Useful certifications: List any licenses or certifications required by the position: PMP, APICS, PMI, ITIL, CPIM, AICP, SP, PRINCE2, PSP, APCIS
- Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
