As a part of the High Purity Quartz Project Team, the Process Engineer- Reactor role will empower you to utilize your skills to analyse, optimize and deliver engineering solutions to the business for both capital projects and operational improvements. The engineers target focus will be in reaction engineering and high temperature equipment with a focus on the technical design knowledge of these processes.

Your Impact in This Role
As a Process Engineer- Reactor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Deliver Safety Leadership by participating in Engineering team meetings and actively identifying any concerns in the field.
- Implement innovative processes and adapt existing ones to improve efficiency, safety, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
- Assist in assessing and providing solutions regarding both Project based optimization and Operational optimization.
- Execute Project risk management to ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, prioritized, and mitigated.
- Manage complex ambiguity documentation in design to drive solutions forward and find novel solutions.
- A minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree in science or chemical engineering, further education as PhD or master’s preferred.
- Industry experience minimum of 10 years with exposure to industrial leaching processes.
- Exposure in small to medium sized project engineering designs or improvement programs of various complexity levels.
- Site based design/operating engineering experience would be favourable.
