Your Impact in This Role
As a Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining strong supplier and Maintenance team relationships
- Working cohesively within a maintenance/ procurement delivery team environment to ensure schedule cost and compliance requirements are met
- Contribute to the improvement of warehouse workflow practices, inter alia quality, cost, efficiency and / or conveying of information to areas of the business as applicable, to enhance the delivery of Maintenance to schedule
- Participating in planning and forecasting material requirements to ensure effective allocation
- Maintaining accurate delivery data within the materials management system
- Managing the materials control function for all materials and equipment received, handled and issued through the maintenance lay down yard and site
- Inspecting and verifying deliveries and their documentation
- Creating and maintaining the materials receiving report
- Managing materials reconciliation, Over Short and Damage (O,S&D) and availability reports
- Visual inspection of materials and equipment and verifying that goods are in accordance with shipping documents, materials certification, Purchase Order descriptions and quantities and free from visible damage
- Continuous knowledge sharing and provision of good practices with the project team through efficient reporting in relevant systems and facilitating where applicable procurement lesson learnt
- Ensure cohesiveness between the Project Team and relevant Supplier where applicable
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience in SAP
- Fluency in the local language and written and spoken English.
