Overview:
Client is seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Lead for a major Brownfield migration project. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience, including Big 4 consulting experience, and expertise in SAP EWM and SAP S/4 HANA. This leadership role requires hands-on SAP EWM experience, with a focus on overseeing migration projects while managing cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP Brownfield migration project for SAP EWM to SAP S/4 HANA at Kiewit.
- Manage and guide a cross-functional team throughout the migration process.
- Ensure timely and successful project delivery by managing resources and stakeholders.
- Provide technical and business oversight for SAP EWM and SAP S/4 HANA processes.
- Effectively communicate with both internal teams and client leadership.
- Drive project milestones, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring work quality.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align project objectives and strategy.
- Perform in-depth analysis of current warehouse management processes and design solutions to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- 15-20 years of experience in SAP EWM with Big 4 consulting experience preferred.
- Expertise in SAP Brownfield migration projects, especially with SAP S/4 HANA.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and resources.
- Hands-on experience with SAP EWM processes and S/4 HANA is essential, although the role is managerial.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM module functionalities, configuration, and customization.
- SAP certifications, especially in EWM, are highly desirable.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- This is an urgent, high-priority role, and immediate availability is preferred.
- Proximity to Central Time Zone is preferred.
- Experience with Stock Room and Jovix is a plus.
Management Responsibilities:
- Lead the EWM team throughout all stages of the migration project.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring they align with overall objectives and deadlines.
- Coordinate cross-workstreams such as data migration, change management/training, cutover, and integrated testing.
SAP EWM Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of SAP EWM module functionalities and best practices.
- Strong background in warehouse management process design and implementation.
- Provide expert guidance on leveraging SAP EWM for optimal warehouse operations.
- Provide recommendations to the client on EWM and Stock Room Management strengths and weaknesses.
Requirement Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and ensure alignment with SAP capabilities.
