Job Description:
The client is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design and implement attractive, functional, and secure websites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of WordPress themes, plugins, site integration, and security updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with divisions to discuss website design and functionality requirements.
Design and develop the website front-end.
Create website architecture for optimal performance.
Design and manage the back-end, including database and server integration.
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting for websites.
Provide WordPress training to the client as needed.
Monitor and ensure optimal performance of all production websites.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Familiarity with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
Soft Skills:
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Additional Information:
This is an onsite role requiring presence in Memphis, TN.
The candidate must have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring websites are functional, secure, and visually appealing.
