What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hematology/Oncology - APP (PRN) position at Sibley Memorial Hospital?
The Oncology APP works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate care to patients requiring palliative care services, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The APP practices within the guidelines of the unit department, and institution and in accordance with the Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant Written Agreement required and approved by Washington DC governance.
Shifts: as needed
Qualifications:
- MSN/DNP from an accredited nursing program or Masters in Physician Assistant studies program required.
- Active DC RN and CRNP licenses are required, DC PA license required
- Current certifications as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (or Adult/Gerontologic), or PA
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
- The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of acute care RN work experience. 3 years of APP Oncology care experience required.

Salary Range: Minimum $81.51 per hour - Maximum $81.51 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
