General Summary:
- The Prenatal Genetic Counselor provides genetic counseling to patients referred for a variety of indications including maternal age, abnormal screening results, abnormal ultrasound findings, family history, pregnancy loss, teratogenic exposure and infertility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from a graduate program accredited by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC)
- Must seek certification as a Genetic Counselor from ABGC within two years of hire date. Must maintain certification by completion of the required CEUs for the period prescribed by the Board.
- Current CPR Certification required
Salary Range: Minimum $31.67 per hour - Maximum $52.23 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
