What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities As a Sales Analyst on the Employee Benefits team, you will manage the RFP (proposal) process for new business as well as existing/growing business through your blend of relationship management, customer service, and analytical skills. In this role, you will guide RFP management: Evaluate RFP risks for amendments & new groups Negotiate pricing, rate competitiveness, and product enhancements Analyze all RFP documents for underwriting feasibility, experience evaluation, and proposal accuracy Administer re-quotes and corrections Manage Salesforce data input, stage updates, document uploads, reports, probability, and pipeline In addition to RFP management, your ability to build and maintain meaningful, effective relationships will be vital as you collaborate with internal and external customers (Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers) to provide the best possible outcome for all parties involved. The Sales Analyst will demonstrate core company values and brand in all interactions: professional negotiation, responsive communication, daily check-ins, scheduled meetings, etc. In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to shine and showcase your blend of applicable skills and experiences. The Skills & Background You’ll Need Proven ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships. Experience collaborating with your immediate team, as well as external partners & customers Ability to make independent decisions that have a real impact on our business Problem solving, decision making, and analytical thinking consistent with company objectives Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with underwriting guidelines is preferred Experience and knowledge with Group Employee Benefits Products is preferred Experience using Salesforce CRM is preferred High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred Life and Disability insurance license for all states within office’s assigned territory will be required. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year. Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
