Job Title : Skilled Lead Carpenter
Sid Grinker Restoration is seeking a skilled lead carpenter to join our team. As a lead carpenter, you will be responsible for providing guidance and supervision to the project team involved in construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project team completes their tasks efficiently and effectively.

- Time breakdown : 75% carpentry / 25%project managing
- Site prep, demolition, and excavation
- Rough framing and carpentry
- Operate power tools and small equipment
- Window and door installation
- Interior and exterior trim
- Cabinetry installation
- General understanding of building science and trade work (electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Communication with the team and clientele
- Capacity to learn and continually improve
- Assign and explain tasks to the project team
- Respond to clients' requests for emergency repairs
- Regularly inspect work done by the project team to ensure that it conforms to certain specifications
- Help the production manager solve project-related problems
- Proven experience as a lead carpenter
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- The ability to safely operate power tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and equipment
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience in residential remodeling or construction
- Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- The ability to read blueprints
- Excellent time management skills

- Strong leadership skills
