Summary
The Quality Assurance Delivery Manager plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of Skeeter Emergency Vehicles. This position is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, and fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external customers. Working closely with the Director of Manufacturing, the QA Delivery Manager will monitor production progress, interpret delivery needs, and resolve any issues that may arise throughout the delivery process.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop and implement company-wide quality standards
- Monitor, review, and enforce policies and procedures to meet quality assurance objectives
- Train, motivate, and mentor employees to uphold quality standards
- Create and manage quality assurance plans, including corrective action and process monitoring
- Conduct final inspections and complete punch list reports to maintain product quality
- Prepare quality documentation and reports, providing data and trend analysis for management meetings
- Work with customers and dealers to ensure timely delivery of trucks to the final blue floor area
- Manage quality assurance processes across the entire production line, ensuring all WIP inspections are completed
- Resolve quality concerns and escalate issues for immediate resolution
- Work with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and parts
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Manufacturing
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in quality assurance systems, manufacturing processes, and vehicle production
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites – Word, Office, Excel, etc.
- Ability to interpret specifications and review data to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to interact effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to work cross-functionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
Required Education:
• High School Diploma
Preferred Education:
• AS or BS degree preferred, but not required
Required Experience:
• 3 years in Quality Assurance or Manufacturing Engineering
• 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with vehicle or emergency equipment production is a plus
