About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Sidecar Health, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, pipelines, and reporting capabilities. You'll use cutting-edge tools and technologies to manage and transform data, deliver actionable insights, and support key business initiatives. Collaborating across teams, you'll help improve operational efficiency and drive data-driven decision-making.
What You'll Do
Use SQL and Python on AWS infrastructure to build ETL jobs and data pipelines that integrate data from various internal and external sources into Snowflake Data WarehouseLeverage DBT (Data Build Tool) to transform data, consolidate records, delete duplicates, and create clean, formatted data modelsUtilize AWS technologies such as S3 , SES , Transfer Family , and Secrets Manager to send reports and support business teams and partnersContainerize and orchestrate data pipelines using Docker and Airflow , while developing monitoring and alerting systemsPerform data quality checks, cleanup, and ensure the reliability of data stored in the data warehouseDevelop reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau and ThoughtSpot to deliver actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key metricsEngage in agile development activities, including sprint planning, peer reviews, daily standups, product demos, and sprint retrospectivesWhat You'll Bring
Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field1 years of experience in a related role, such as Data Engineer or Software EngineerProficiency in SQL , Python , and data modeling, with the ability to write complex SQL statements using joins and window functionsHands-on experience with ETL processes, real-time and batch data processing, and integrating data from multiple sources and formats (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV)Familiarity with Spark , Athena , Docker , and version control systems like GITKnowledge of secure, scalable, cloud-based architectures compliant with HIPAA or PCIExperience creating data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau or ThoughtSpotAbility to interpret business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable software solutionsKnowledge of machine learning features, Tableau server architecture, and Airflow is a plusExperience working in agile development environmentsWhat You'll Get

Additionally, base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related skills and experience. The current expected salary range for this position is : $145,000 - $145,000.
