YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Sidel Inc. is looking for Health, and Safety Specialist to support our Safety Department as a HSE Specialist for the installation of equipment and services in North America, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external teams to implement and oversee installation activities, in compliance with USA regulations and company policies.
YOUR MISSION
- Ensure vigilance on H&S coordination plan availability prior to Field Service Engineers trip for site operations (New equipment and Services)
- Author, implement, and administer appropriate QEHS&S policies and programs.
- Secure Security Travel Management for all interventions in the region
- Secure mapping, monitoring, development plan, follow up for training programs related to QHSE&S for employees.
- Secure controlling and vigilance of PPE setup and availabilities for employees
- Execution of audits and consequent correction / improvement plan
- Interact with Sourcing for suppliers' evaluations and correction plans.
- Drive Communications and initiatives with other functions linked to QHSE&E for employees.
- Track and trend reporting of incidents and calculate injury frequencies for corporate and OSHA compliance.
- Complete accident / illness investigations; documenting as is appropriate and communicating with government agencies and vendors.
- Lead and facilitate the safety committee.
- Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
- Evaluate safety deficiencies, authoring and communicating documentation relative to the same.
- Conduct safety training and education programs for OSHA compliance including, NFPA, ANSI and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
- Provide regular reporting for status and escalate critical risk observations.
- Provide new-employee health and safety orientations and develop materials for these presentations.
- Lead site changes to encourage performance expectations for safe behaviour to guarantee employee safety.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
