The Position: Activity Aide
Employment Status: Full-Time
Hours per two-week pay-period: 80 hours
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide the residents with routine daily activities and services that would be necessary to carry out the place of care.
- Utilizing a social model of care, you are responsible for the quality of life for the residents.
- Planning, implementing, assessing and organizing all activities per residents individual interests and needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year Long Term Care Experience or Assistance in Activities Programs Preferred
Certifications and Licenses
- CPR (preferred but not required)
- Montanas Drivers License
- CNA license is preferred but not required. CNA classes offered if interested.
- High School Diploma
Position Summary:
Looking to bring spark, creativity and joy to residents. We have a full-time activities aide position perfect for you. This position would require some administrative duties, and the ability to communicate with residents, volunteers, visitors and staff. Assistance with performing small or large group activities, entertaining, spiritual and one-on-on activities. Requires having a pleasant and caring demeanor, being patient, considerate, being able to multi-task, having the ability to effectively interact with residents.
