The Position: Imaging Coordinator
Employment Status: Full-Time
Hours per two-week pay-period: 80
Essential Job Functions:
- Answer Imaging Department phone calls and route as needed
- Monitor Imaging Department incoming faxes
- Import outside imaging and send imaging and records where needed
- Enter outside Imaging orders into EPIC
- Assist Outpatient Coordinators as needed
- Schedule patients for Nuclear Medicine studies
- Call patients to confirm appointments for Echocardiograms
- Assist Imaging Director as needed
- Maintain excellent contact with Technologists in the department
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- College Degree is a plus
- Experience scheduling patients is a plus
Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking an Imaging Coordinator to join our I CARE team in the Radiology setting. Essential duties of the position include answering and directing phone calls, importing and sending imaging, entering orders, scheduling Nuclear Medicine patients, confirming appointments and assisting in other areas as needed.
