Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will architect and develop business intelligence (BI) solutions using the Power BI platform. You will work cross-functionally, collaborate with stakeholders, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards to drive actionable business insights. This role focuses on key business areas, including financial markets, geospatial data, and enterprise-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for equity, fixed income, and derivative product tracking.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design end-to-end BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and advanced DAX calculations.
• Architect and configure data security, user access, and report-sharing across multiple business groups.
• Lead daily standup meetings and support project tracking, documentation, and report migrations from development to production environments.
• Create geospatial reports, KPIs, and performance testing dashboards using Power BI’s mapping and data visualization tools.
• Develop Paginated Reports with Power BI Report Builder and optimize existing reports for better performance and responsiveness.
• Leverage SQL, PL/SQL, and SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading into reporting databases.
• Perform advanced data analysis from sources such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics for attribution modeling and segmentation.
• Train and mentor team members on Power BI development and best practices.
• Support geospatial data visualization and integration for financial, utility, and GIS projects.
• Document development processes, data sources, and custom transformations for knowledge sharing.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Advanced Power BI development skills, including dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Experience as a Lead or Power BI Consultant.
• Strong background in Microsoft Power BI Development.

• Experience with ArcGIS, Geospatial Analysis, Geospatial Data, and Geospatial Mapping.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7 years of IT experience with a focus on Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Database Applications.
• Expertise in Power BI and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, and DAX).
• Proven experience with SDLC phases, including systems analysis, development, and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL processes (SSIS).
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema), visualization, and transformation techniques.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, Power Query, Power Pivot, and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience managing report deployments, access, and maintenance across environments.
• Familiarity with Azure, PBRS, and Microsoft technology stack (Office 365, SQL Server, SharePoint).

• Proficiency in DAX and advanced data modeling for predictive analytics and statistical forecasting.
