Job Summary
The Contracts Administrator develops, prepares, and administers contracts, bids, and proposals that meet specifications and comply with all policies and regulations. Supports or participates in contract negotiations with suppliers, partners, or customers, ensuring contract support shows value and contributes to the overall success of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review contract terms to identify any potential risk or compliance issues.
- Examine supporting materials and agreement documents related to bids or contracts and provide guidance to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and subcontractors to implement contracts.
- Maintain contract records used to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and administration of commercial contracting policies, controls and procedures in accordance with stated corporate objectives and requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance, Human Resources, Pricing, Business Development and other functional areas to design and implement contracting improvements across the entire corporate organization.
- Keep abreast of applicable laws, government regulations and industry guidance that impact contract requirements.
- Oversee the development, improvement, and maintenance of tools, forms, and processes to address the contract administration and management functions.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 5 – 7 years’ contracts administration experience; Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; aerospace industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of international contracting including ITAR, EAR and FCPA preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short response times
- Ability to handle multiple activities, contracts and customers simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both internally with technical staff, peers, and executive management as well as externally to customers, industry peers, and competitors
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting or standing in an office environment
Travel Requirement
Able to travel <10% of the time
Shift/Schedule
This position is for the day shift generally working 8:00am – 5:00pm
