Job Summary
The Systems Engineer will be part of team responsible for the design, development, assembly, integration, test, and verification lifecycle activities for development and sustainment of satellites and related technologies.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing specifications, interface control documents, test plans, test procedures, and test reports to support structural design, instrumentation, communication, propulsion, and operational systems integration.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to maintain and troubleshoot the technology systems associated with satellite systems and subsystems.
- Consult on the installation, testing, and redesign of related technologies supporting satellites, ground, and mission systems.
- Maintain files and records as required including verification cross reference matrices, test results, and data files related to verification activities.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related STEM field. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
- Three (3) years of broad engineering experience with systems architecture and design, systems documentation, systems requirements, and systems verification.
- Experience with DOORS, CRADLE, DevOps or other system engineering lifecycle tools.
- Familiar with NASA standards preferred.
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams

- Able to multitask, prioritize task and projects, as well as manage time efficiently
- Able to analyze problems and strategize for best solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing or walking on hard surfaces
- Ability to travel <10%
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Shift/Schedule
- Onsite work Monday through Friday; core working hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm
