Salad Bar/Breakfast Prep
Hourly Range: $17.00-$20.00/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Salad Bar and Breakfast Prep! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high quality and timely preparation of salads and breakfast items for our customers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary arts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Food Preparation
Prepare and assemble a variety of salads and breakfast items according to established recipes and guidelines.
Ingredient Management
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and adhere to food safety standards. Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages.
Quality Control
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Conduct regular checks to ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
Sanitation and Cleanliness
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaboration
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of food items. Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or special requests.
Customer Interaction
Interact with customers to take special orders, provide information about menu items, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Adaptability
Be flexible and willing to assist in other kitchen tasks as needed, including food prep for other menu items.
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Essential physical requirements, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and typing.
