- As a Clearing & Operations Support Analyst, you will be focused on a wide array of operational, clearing, and service delivery functions that will support branch operations.
- Ability to learn and perform a wide variety of Share Plan Services Operational job functions to support the Business as needed.
- Share Plan Services Operational job functions potentially will include but are not limited to the following:
- Company Admin and Participant communications through multiple channels including inbound calls and Emails
- Daily Cost Basis Reconciliation
- Share Drop Allocation
- Company and Tax Payment Processing
- Bulk Sweep Processing
- ESPP Disposition and Reporting
- 10B5-1 Trade Processing
- Wire Transfers
- Cost Basis Tax Lot Corrections and Adjustments
- ACH Rejection Processing
- RSU Processing
- New Account Opening and Account Updates
- Ability to cross train into various operational job functions as needed. Also, the ability to help cross train other team members when you are a subject matter expert on the job function.
- Play a role in transitioning plan participants who are interested in other Siebert Products and Offerings to the appropriate Sales Department.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal Siebert Departments including but not limited to Siebert Management, Compliance, Sales, Trading, Marketing, Technology, etc
- Ability to adapt and adjust to changes in rules, policy and workloads when needed.
- Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
- 2-3 years of previous operations experience in the financial services industry or equivalent
- Knowledge of equity compensation plans is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to eventually acquire Series 7 and 63 licenses
- Demonstrated professional customer service experience from a verbal and written communication perspective.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving / resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player in a small office environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc) and the ability to learn Siebert specific software tools for Share Plan Services operational processing.
