What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrative Assistant/Accountant position at Siege Construction Services?
Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing clients' needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate projects and ensure deadlines are met by effectively managing schedules and resources
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate records of important documents
- Assisting with AP/AR, punctual invoicing and payment tracking
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly profit and expense reports for accounting purposes
- Coordinating with clients and property managers, scheduling and dispatching jobs while uploading all required documents
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, organizing files, and transcribing meeting minutes
- Proofread documents for errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Assist with dispatch including scheduling appointments and updating records
Experience:
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Google Suite and Quickbooks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Experience in project coordination and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with general clerical duties and office procedures
- Ability to transcribe information accurately from various sources
- Knowledge of proofreading techniques to ensure high-quality documents
- Previous experience as an office admin in a construction or trade is a plus
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Demonstrated phone etiquette skills
- Reliability, impeccable attendance
