Join the team at Siegel’s Bagelmania, where a signature mix of tradition, creativity, and hospitality shines. We’re on the lookout for a friendly, energetic Bartender to serve our famous Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and more. With our prime location just off the Strip and next to the Las Vegas Convention Center, this role promises high-energy mornings and early afternoons filled with diverse and fun customers.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Welcome Guests: Greet all customers with a warm, positive attitude as they arrive.
- Promote Bar Specials: Share information about bar specials and exciting events.
- Keep the Bar Stocked: Ensure the bar is fully stocked with all essentials, including liquor, wine, ice, garnishes, and mixers. Restock as needed.
- Craft and Serve Drinks: Prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Process Payments: Take customer orders and handle payments using the cash register accurately.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and inviting.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Deliver Outstanding Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age Requirement: Must be 21 years old.
- Experience: At least 1 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, catering, or banquet setting preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of retail math and cash handling.
- Knowledge of various alcoholic beverages and mixing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices.
- Certifications:
- Alcohol Awareness Card.
- SNHD Food Handlers Card.
- Gaming Sheriff’s Card.
- Legal: Must be eligible to work within state and federal guidelines.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Standing and walking continuously throughout shifts.
- Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent face-to-face interactions with customers.
- Maintaining a neat, professional appearance in company uniform.
- Ability to work an average 8-hour shift, including weekends and holidays.
