We’re looking for a dynamic Catering Sales Manager to join the Bagelmania team and help us expand our catering business while delivering top-notch service to our customers. What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)
Drive Sales Success:
- Create and execute a powerful sales strategy to drive catering bookings, events, and buyouts.
- Get the word out. Participate in cold calls, sales outreach, and bookings to build a strong client base.
- Conduct site visits with clients to showcase our offerings and secure new business.
- Stay ahead of market trends, pricing shifts, and competitors to keep our offerings competitive and in demand.
Build Strong Relationships:
- Cultivate relationships with current and potential clients to understand their needs and ensure repeat business.
- Work closely with clients to enhance their event experience and maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth execution of events, every time.
Strategize for Success:
- Develop a marketing plan to attract new clients and maximize the potential of existing business.
- Maintain an up-to-date client database to streamline communication and sales efforts.
- Work alongside General Managers to develop pricing strategies that align with market trends and optimize revenue.
What We’re Looking For (Required Experience)
- 3-4 years of sales experience in the restaurant or food service industry, preferably in quick service, full service, or catering.
- Proven ability to handle cold calls, build rapport, and manage events effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
