What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trial Attorney - Construction / Commercial Litigation position at Siegfried Rivera?
Siegfried Rivera has an immediate opening for a skilled and motivated Trial Attorney with at least 5 years of trial experience, preferably in construction litigation or commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will be able to handle complex multi-party cases in state and federal court, attend hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and manage cases effectively. Strong knowledge of construction, lien, and surety law is preferred. This role offers hybrid work options after the initial training period, competitive compensation with an annual bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package. In addition, you shall receive 10% of the receipts on clients you originate. Responsibilities:
· Ability to review, draft and analyze construction agreements and pleadings
· Ability to review, draft and analyze Insurance policies, coverage, and pleadings
· Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials in state and federal court
· Manage cases, build trusting relationships with clients, and meet client expectations effectively
· Build trusting relationships with clients
Qualifications:
· Admission to the Florida Bar
· 5 years’ experience in construction or commercial litigation
· Knowledge of construction, lien, insurance, and surety law is preferred
· Trial experience is required
· Knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial outcome
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Must be an excellent team player
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
