This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.

We are looking for a highly motivated RECENT COLLEGE GRAD U.S. based R&D software engineer to work in the IIT team in the Calibre business unit. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Calibre RVE and Calibre Interactive product software. You will be teaming up with a group of senior software engineers to contribute to new components and algorithms and to support existing components. You will be collaborating with quality assurance, technical publications, marketing, and customer support to deliver high-quality products on schedule. You will participate in scheduling and estimation of tasks and assist in defining and developing software development methodologies. Self-motivation, the desire to take technical ownership, and a results-oriented positive attitude and team-orientation will contribute to your success in our business unit.

Responsibilities :

Development will be done on a Linux platform. Developing those features includes design, writing specifications, planning, implementation, and thorough testing.

Required Knowledge / Skills, Education, and Experience :

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of C and / or Python programming languages.
• Basic knowledge of algorithm and data structure design.
• Strong analysis, design and problem-solving skills, along with object-oriented programming experience.

The hourly range for this position is $51.92 to $61.54 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education / training.
