• Tessent Memory Technology R&D Intern
• As an intern in the Tessent 3D IC Test team, you will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Tessent 3D IC Test, Repair, and Analysis solutions.
• You will work side-by-side with senior software developers and technology experts, at the intersection between electrical engineering and computer science. We seek an intern that has a good understanding of 3D IC Test technology to work with us on creating solutions to leading-edge technology problems, as well as good software engineering skills to implement such solutions in software.
• This team is part of the Tessent division, the market and technology leader of electronic design automation (EDA) software products and on-chip instrumentation for semiconductor design-for-test (DFT), yield analysis, silicon validation, and silicon lifecycle management (SLM).
• Responsibilities:
• You will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the 3D IC Test product at the leading edge of technology
• You will work on the development of HBM interface test in a 2.5D stack that is driven from the SOC over a functional PHY (DFI Protocol)
• You will be reviewing and writing RTL for development of DFT IPs
• You will also write testbenches run simulations using QuestaSim software to validate the DFT IPs
• Develop testcases and experiments using C , Tcl, and/or Python
• You will collaborate with a world-wide group of hardware and software development, quality assurance, technical publications, marketing, and field applications engineers.
• You will provide technical feedback to the development team
• Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Understanding of memory or logic design, experience with Verilog
• Experience with Spice or analog/mixed-signal languages and tools is a large plus
• Good knowledge of writing RTL and testbennch
• Solid knowledge of a scripting language like Python or Tcl, and/or C
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Self-motivated and able to work constructively and productively on a team, as well as independently
• Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills

• The hourly range for this position is $23.00 to $50.00 for technical roles or $18.00 to $44.00 for non-technical positions. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
