Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift

We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers (level 4). This position will be based at our Siemens Roebuck, SC manufacturing site.

Shift hours: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the building and assembling of our electromechanical equipment.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Process work orders using computers and scanning devices while adhering to schedules and reporting non-conforming items.
• Perform up to 50% electrical installations by reading wiring diagrams and verifying units meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area for safety and proper functionality, and complete additional tasks as directed by supervision.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

You will have impact if you have the following:

• Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions, mechanical/measuring tools, and the ability to interpret/read blueprints.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling/sliding heavy materials, and performing coordinated hand and arm movements to handle objects effectively.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wiring and a strong technical skill.
• Familiarity with Busway products
• Knowledge of SAP for completing confirmations and reports is highly desirable.
• Experience with assembling standard/custom electrical products, including placing, fastening and testing components using hand or powered tools.

• The pay for this position is $23.62/hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
