As Lead Data Catalyst, you will be responsible for driving the improvement of data quality and availability for your assigned steam turbine installed fleet. This task is essential, in support of our Spare Parts organization's ambition of becoming Amazon's industrial twin. You will conduct in-depth data analyses, propose a data strategy and work with different teams to validate and implement it; set in place data governance measures, data management and monitoring tools, and support data monetization. As new data feeds into our e-Commerce platform, you will actively promote its adoption by your internal customers and herewith directly support process automation and business growth.

The base salary range for this position in Olean, New York or Hamilton, New Jersey is $74,000 - $136,000.
Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

How You’ll Make An Impact
- Utilize Python or PowerBI for in-depth business data analysis, including data cleaning (rule-based and AI methods) and augmentation, to derive actionable insights and spearhead the implementation of these strategies.
- Work across multiple functions to assess current data usage, quality, and availability, identifying issues and gathering suggestions for improvements to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Enhance the e-Commerce platform's performance by driving sales volume, leveraging improved data for strategic inventory management, pricing, upselling, and developing offerings based on customer insights.
- Implement cutting-edge data analysis and management techniques to elevate data quality and accessibility across STG’s installed fleet, supporting better business outcomes.
- Play a key role in establishing and promoting E-Commerce as a significant distribution channel within the PCC, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, regions, and partners on initiatives aimed at achieving data excellence and contribute to the ambitious goal of becoming the industrial equivalent of Amazon for our spare parts business.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience conducting advanced data analysis using Python. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
- Proficiency in analyzing, manipulating and applying Machine Learning to data. Familiarity with Snowflake, PowerBI including DAX and M is a plus.
- Demonstrates creativity, efficiency, and resourcefulness in problem-solving and project execution.
- Possesses impeccable verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong passion for collaboration, transformation, and excellence in data management, including data governance and analytics.
