Logistic Operator 2nd Shift

Daily activities will include performing a wide range of assignments, such as moving and stacking skids, containers, and pallets; as well as loading, unloading, and moving materials and product How You’ll Make an Impact You will be responsible for receiving, storing / stocking, identifying, and issuing material by name, part, or drawing number Candidate will be verifying count, condition, and integrity of all material received You will be expected to collect and transport material as needed, operating Jitneys, tow motors, cranes, and reach trucks; this includes moving and storing material in yards and shops, such as casting and forging workstations You will receive, identify, mark, store, and issue a wide variety of bars, tubings, pipes, and related material You will be operating UPS, FedEx, and DHL machines to create shipping labels for relevant material You will be assisting areas with locating required material, putting kits together, and packaging and labeling What You Bring High School Diploma or GED 1-3 years of material logistics experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must be willing to work second shift and be flexible enough to work first or third shifts on occasion as per business requirements Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, with basic to intermediate computer skills Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and flexibility and ability to manage multiple priorities Should display an attitude conductive to progress through positive change, continuous improvement, and active contribution to the concept of teamwork About the Team Grid Technologies Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
