Join our Engineering group as a mechanical system integration engineer, focused on modernizing integral compressor engines, primarily used on interstate natural gas pipelines. Scope of work is integration of components for air, fuel, ignition, and exhaust systems, including design, bill of materials development, construction documentation, installation and commissioning. Some projects include design for balance of plant “off engine” scope such as cooling, lubrication and fuel supply systems.

Advanced knowledge of reciprocating engine fuel, air, ignition, cooling, and lubrication systems.

Your Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to conceive and prescribe integrated solutions to meet customer needs.
- Engine combustion-related mechanical system integration know-how owner.
- Mechanical system design, development, validation, and BOM creation to meet client needs.
- Ensure Quality Health and Safety standards are rigorously adhered to and drive efficiency to reduce project cost, identify opportunities for change orders.
- Works with related system experts to define technical interfaces and maintain strong customer relationships while training professional staff
- Read, create and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8-10 years with mechanical systems integration engineering experience
- Experience with using AutoCAD and excellent writing, interpersonal & speaking skills at all levels
- High level of tact, professionalism, and tenacity
- Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated and mission oriented.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time (Both Domestic and Internationally)
