How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify, develop, and implement process improvement projects that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and drive cost savings.
- Manage and Mentor a Team of Engineers: Provide guidance and leadership to a team responsible for optimizing plant operations.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing: Apply methodologies to improve productivity, quality, and throughput.
- Facility Layout & Equipment Optimization: Lead factory layout redesigns and specify new equipment to improve workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
- Capital Project Management: Develop and execute capital investment plans, ensuring projects align with business objectives and financial targets.
- Strategic Business Initiatives: Partner with senior leadership to drive and execute key operational strategies.
- Performance Monitoring & Data Analysis: Utilize KPIs, OEE, and other performance metrics to track progress and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement roles within an industrial product manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of leading teams in process optimization and waste reduction.
- Solid understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.
- Experience with capital projects, facility layout, and automation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to work cross-functionally and influence change.
- Technical proficiency in data analysis tools, ERP systems, and industrial automation technologies.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
