The production supervisor coordinates within production and production planning, to ensure timely and efficient production. The production supervisor also manages the staff, equipment, and inventory of the production floor.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Plan, schedule, and monitor the production of engineer to order products based on customer orders and deadlines.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of production staff, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the production process, communicating with the engineering, sales, and purchasing departments as needed.
- Ensure that the production equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated and report any malfunctions or defects to the maintenance department.
- Effectively manage a workforce to accomplish daily, monthly, and annual targets
- Maintain workflow by monitoring process and eliminating bottlenecks.
What You Bring
- Associate level degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Proven ability to lead a team and drive results.
