Your profile
- Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or advanced scientific or engineering degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8-10 years’ experience in Manufacturing/ Quality
- Experience in operations which produce many parts with complex engineering requirements.
- Broad technical and commercial knowledge with a thorough understanding of the power generation industry, in-depth knowledge of ISO standards, power generation industry quality standards, and supplier qualification criteria.

Your responsibilities
- Manage the development and implementation of qualification processes to ensure that suppliers products conform to Siemens- Energy standards, and products meet all quality objectives
- Provide leadership and direction to the quality improvement initiatives for the plant product lines
- Coordinate quality improvement initiatives between plants and suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and fact-based decision-making
- Support quality policy development and implementation throughout the Power Generation business
- Provide support in maintaining ISO certification.
- Manage EHS activities for Fort Payne
- Compliance with government environmental regulations
- Champion constant improvement of the safety culture and reduction of the site’s incident rate
- Coordinate all waste streams from site
to assure all requirements are met

The capabilities and products found at the Fort Payne facility are critical for the electrical performance of generators that deliver power to industry, local and regional electrical grid.
Our facility opened its doors in 1988 and we have been supporting a fleet of over 15,000 generators with quality electrical components since we opened.
