How You’ll Make An Impact
- Blending of Turbine Components
- Receive assignments, verbal and/or written, from supervision.
- Read and comprehend traveler, documents, key cards, and other specifications to gather work instructions.
- Use and maintain blending tools and equipment, including large belt sanders and die grinders.
- Recognize and replace spent consumable materials such as sanding belts and burrs at appropriate interval.
- Route and blend turbine components conserving the original contour. Grit and visually inspect parts.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Entry level position requires experience working in an industrial environment. Knowledge of chemicals, grit blasting, safe machine practices and techniques is beneficial. Ability to use handheld measuring tools.
- Ability to read, write, complete simple forms, and understand simple written instructions.
- Requires the ability to perform math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; also requires the simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, or diagram.
