Provides clinical training and support to customers, as a subject matter expert in dosimetry, on-site and/or remotely to ensure customer is prepared to operate their equipment according to a minimum of safe and effective use guidelines and to fully utilize the complex functionality of the technology to meet their business needs.

Clinical Applications Training

• Provide comprehensive on-site or remote clinical applications training to strategic customers.
• Ensure customers can operate Varian Medical System equipment safely and effectively.
  
  

Customer Relationship Management

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to manage and exceed customer clinical expectations.
• Focus on aligning customer goals with the value of products and services to ensure satisfaction and continued adoption.
  
  

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Collaborate with Sales, Installations, AOS/MDO, Applications, Education, and Service account team members.
• Enhance teaming with strategic sales and service teams for a proactive customer experience.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support and optimize customer relationships.
  
  

Training and Educational Program Development

• Develop customized and ongoing knowledge programs with customers, aligned with their goals and future product releases.
• Manage customer advantage credits and multi-year advantage contracts.
  
  

Key Performance Indicators and Product Score Card

• Maintain key performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and product adoption.
  
  

Product and Market Insight

• Provide competitive product performance information to headquarters, marketing, or engineering groups.
• Coordinate or lead customer and employee training courses and conduct presentations at seminars, training programs, and trade shows.
• Provide demo support at local, regional, and national customer trade events.
• Lead internal product meetings supporting multiple groups within Varian.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other duties and functions to support customers or internal Varian employees as needed.
  
  

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, And Travel

• Travel required up to 75% of work weeks and occasional weekend travel
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Exemplary communication skills (listening, verbal, written)
• Able to work independently and complete all deliverables on-time
• Enthusiastic learner who is eager to meet challenges and quickly assimilate new concepts
• Adaptable, positive, and open to new ideas and/or situations
• Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative
• Clinical understanding of the processes in a Radiation Oncology Department
• Valid Passport Required
• Able to Travel Internationally if requested
• Successful applicant must also live in the Southeast region consisting of the following states. (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida)
  
  

Other Desired Skills And Knowledge

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the clinic.
• Meets all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to gain VMS client site access, unless prohibited by law. These requirements vary by client and may include, but are not limited to:
• Proof of valid identification (photo, driver’s license, SSN)
• Criminal background checks
• Drug screens Immunizations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus)
• Annual TB testing
• Other Items as requested by Clinical Sites
