Job Summary
Siemens Healthineers is seeking a skilled CT technologist to join our team in Newark, New Jersey. As a travel CT technologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and develop your skills in diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Locating and recording internal elements of the body, and identifying any anomalies indicative of disease or injury
- Adjusting equipment and calming patients to eliminate test artifacts and monitor patients for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes
- Evaluating test results for clarity and accuracy, reviewing tests with peers and physicians, and informing physicians of preliminary findings as requested
- Distributing completed test results to physicians and service providers, preparing diagnostic information for interpretation, and maintaining patient charts and files
Requirements:
- Valid ARRT license, registered in CT
- Minimum 2 years CT clinical experience
- GE scanner experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
