The Financial Planning & Performance Analyst will be a key contributor to the dynamic North America Performance Controlling team by overseeing the financial planning and forecasting processes across NAM.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Finance (Management Reporting, Planning & Analytics) and will support the company’s strategy by effectively communicating financial insights to executive leadership, achieved through in-depth analysis and close collaboration with business planners.

This role will have the opportunity to drive automation competence and digitalization initiatives within the NAM finance Community.

Your Role

  • Oversee forecasting process, review and coordinate forecasts from all business lines, and act as central point of collaboration consolidating zone’s monthly forecast and roll-up to headquarter Performance Controlling
  • Assess enterprise-wide NAM results and provide deep insights & commentary relevant for publicly traded company
  • Perform critical analysis and review on P&L actual performance and forecast changes, and identify actions/measures needed to achieve business targets
  • Prepare presentations and provide direct support to the CFO to inform and support decision-making.
  • Power user of the NAM local Planning tool (Jedox), supporting system design, system enhancements and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial books and records through data validation practices. Maintain accurate and reliable financial data, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Identify and implement best practices in financial planning and reporting processes. Continuously improve models, tools, and methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills, Education And Experience For This Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related discipline required
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong focus on technical and IT aspects.
  • Effective collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills; excellent professional judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, automation, and digitalization
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to assist on decision making
  • Deep knowledge of FP&A systems and finance controlling required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • Ability to drive change management
