Providing multi-craft process maintenance support to troubleshoot highly complex automated filling, packaging, and labeling equipment.
- Providing multi-craft process maintenance support to troubleshoot highly complex automated filling, packaging, and labeling equipment utilizing process control software including Production Equipment Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to diagnose equipment problems.
- Supporting Production Equipment Vision Systems and Barcode Readers.
- Supporting and maintaining Production Equipment Electro-mechanical systems (sensors, temperature control, motion control)
- Performing required preventive maintenance on complex production equipment.
- Taking an active role in continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance initiatives.
- You have experience supporting software within Programmable Logic Controllers (Siemens and Rockwell) and electro-mechanical equipment such as motors, photo-electric sensors, process instrumentation, vision systems (Keyence and/or Cognex), robotics (FANUC) and pneumatics.
- You have demonstrated strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to resolve complex equipment breakdowns.
- You have a working knowledge and application experience with Lean business systems and methodologies such as TPM, 5S, & OEE Monitoring.
- Minimum of 8 years supporting manufacturing automation and process control designs; including experience in a cGMP Manufacturing environment.
- Desired Software Experience: RSLogix/Studio 5000, TIA Portal, Step 7
- Candidate must have good interpersonal and customer service skills to successfully work within a team environment and be able to work independently.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills to work with all levels of employees, management.
- Ability to work overtime as needed to ensure product supply to our customers.
- Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Automation and Control, Journey certification or 8 years of equivalent experience required.
