We are looking for someone to work at clinical sites under the supervision of a qualified medical physicist (QMP) to perform assigned duties. You will ensure high-quality service by focusing on customer experience, adhering to procedures and practice standards, and maintaining smooth on-site operations. Also, implement and follow customer service standards while supporting family-centered care principles in interactions with both customers and colleagues.
M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics or a closely related field required.
ABR Certified. At a minimum, 3 years clinical experience
The medical physicist is responsible for independently performing routine tasks, including linear accelerator (linac) operation, quality assurance (QA) procedures for linacs and IMRT, patient chart QA, and supporting special clinical procedures such as HDR, SRS, and SBRT. They must demonstrate proficiency in linac calibration and commissioning. Additionally, the physicist oversees daily clinical operations, designs and implements policies, and introduces new technologies as needed. Completing competencies related to assigned clinical tasks is also required.
