Responsibilities
This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Supply Chain/Logistics Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Developing process maps and establishing operational best practices in Supplier Partnerships, including development of operational framework documentation
- Supporting various department managers in preparation for key leadership meetings (presentations, pre-read, agendas, minutes, etc.)
- Evaluating existing practices against the current expected outcomes of the department’s efforts.
- Providing project management guidance for infrastructure preservation project.
- Applying various technologies to aid the design and creation of documentation.
This position may suit you best if you are familiar with the areas and concepts below, and would like to develop your skills within Healthineers:
- A general understanding of the US healthcare industry;
- Previous projects, team competitions, or internships in Supply Chain and Operations
- An understanding of general strategic partnerships
- An understanding of fundamental business acumen
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program, majoring in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or Supply Chain Management. Experience in process improvement (Six Sigma) and project management is a plus.
- Minimum 3.2 GPA (preferred)
