Siemen's Manufacturing Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Technician to join our team in the Midwest region. Our company specializes in printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies, with a strong focus on test and rework capabilities. We are a privately held business with manufacturing facilities located in Illinois, approximately 20 minutes southeast of downtown St. Louis.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be part of a group of skilled electronics technicians involved in the component-level analysis, debug, and repair of electronic boards and assemblies. Primary responsibilities include performing functional or parametric testing of circuit boards, identifying faults using visual inspection, schematic analysis, or board level testing, and replacing components using SMT or through-hole repair techniques. Additionally, the technician will work with production teams to continuously improve production processes and collaborate with the Engineering team to design and fabricate functional test equipment.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with at least 5 years of experience in component-level electronics debug and repair. Key qualifications include excellent soldering skills, component-level circuit analysis and fault diagnosis skills, and the ability to operate standard types of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies, function generators, hipot testers, etc. A strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel is also required.
