Position Overview :
We are looking for an entry-level Factory Commissioning Test Technician to join our team in Lexington, NC! We are willing to train and help you grow in this role. This person will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs on next-generation light rail, locomotives, and coaches. Need to be familiar with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
What your day-to-day will look like :
- Perform electrical and mechanical commissioning on locomotive and coach cars
- Troubleshoot, document and repair electrical and mechanical failures
- Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic test equipment.
- Understand and comply with company and industry safety standards.
- Communicate with others, verbally and in writing, technical information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information.
- Have ability to work independently and among a team with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
- Read, interpret and understand written or electronic schematics.
- Use PTU’s to troubleshoot various systems onboard light rail, locomotive and coach vehicles.
