Position Snapshot:
Embark on a mission to inspect a variety of components in the Carshell welding area, ensuring compliance with exacting specifications for train coaches. You’ll conduct routine visual, dimensional, and mechanical inspections according to industry standards, utilizing non-destructive testing techniques for accuracy and precision.

Your Daily Adventure Includes:
- Leverage your expertise and judgment for interpreting inspection results.
- Furnish routine solutions for typical defects.
- Engage with suppliers and quality management on a limited basis.
Bring Your Skills:
- Certified AWS Visual Weld Inspector Associate or VT Level II certification, including proficiency in non-destructive testing methods.
- Competency in utilizing computer systems for data retrieval and input into inspection systems.
Essential Physical Requirements:
This energetic role demands frequent standing, walking, and manual dexterity. You’ll often need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and communicate effectively. Occasionally requires sitting. Capable of regularly lifting/moving up to 10 pounds, with intermittent lifting of 40 pounds or more. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color distinction, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
