You will lead the Technology Pathways team of consultants within the Energy Business Advisory unit of Siemens Power Technologies International (PTI) and be tasked with its growth. The team delivers services to large power consumers, utilities, financiers, and government. Services range from transaction advisory to technology deployment roadmaps.Your team will deliver consulting services within the Technology Pathways workstream. These services include transaction advisory, deployment roadmaps, investment and operation plans, and other analytical support to client decisions on novel energy and power technologies. The new technologies range from e-mobility and other end-use electrification solutions on the energy demand side to small modular reactors and hydrogen on the supply (and transformation) side. The delivery of these services may require knowledge in many areas beyond the technologies themselves, from energy markets to financial modeling, and you will be able to tap into the skill pool of Siemens PTI’s expert team for that.This is a remote position located in the contiguous U.S.You’ll make an impact as you : Support business development and promote consulting services of Siemens PTI.Promote relationship building and strengthening with new and existing clients.Coordinate proposal generation and project management functions to deliver consultancy.Keep abreast of market trends and continuously align the service portfolio with market needs.Manage a consulting team of varied levels of experience (entry-level to expert).Hire, mentor, and develop people while learning from successes and failures.Collaborate with other Siemens Industry Business Units for better customer engagement.Employ strong communication with engaging presentation and writing skills in English.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications : Bachelor's or more advanced degree in accounting, business, computer science, data science, economics, engineering, finance, management, marketing, statistics, physics, or supply chain.At least 8 years of experience in providing consulting or other type of analytical support to energy or power industry players (consumers, asset owners or operators, financiers, governments).At least 2 years of experience in team leadership positions.Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% of the time as needed.Preferred qualifications : Experience with provision of the either of the following services : transaction advisory, deployment roadmaps, investment and operation plans, market analysis, and regulatory guidance.Experience with novel technologies for power systems, with managing portfolios of contractual and physical energy assets, with energy markets.You’ll benefit from : Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.The salary range for this position is $120,540 - $206,640. An annual incentive target also is part of the compensation package for this position. Salary : $120,540 - $206,640
